I understand that the formula has recently changed and the quality is much better than just a few years ago. My quick thoughts on it: Nice peaty scotch that is great on the rocks. It is no Laphroaig but is has a nice bit of peat to it. It is young and a bit harsh but some ice help tame it. It gets a bad rap and is a decent everyday scotch to have on the rocks. I would not drink it neat but that's just my opinion, YMMV.
I find this to be a great value scotch if you like peat, especially now that good quality, inexpensive peaty blended scotches seem to be harder to come by.
