Reviewed January 25, 2015 (edited April 24, 2018)Color: Light Amber - Nose: Vanilla, Weak Caramel - Taste: Sweet, Perfume, Paint Thinner - Finish: A Bit Harsh, Levels Off, Sweet and Sour Burn - Serviceable as a mixing Scotch (JW Red + Drambuie for a decent Rusty Nail). If you are looking for a blended Scotch more suitable for sipping neat, skip the JW Red and go directly to JW Black. -

Reviewed January 21, 2015 (edited March 17, 2019)This was my first time to purchase and sample Johnnie Walker Red Label and it will also be my last. I found the flavor very bitter and too earthy. Do NOT attempt to drink this neat.
