Johnnie Walker Red Label

Its not horrible.. but its also a bit of a chore to chew. If you want a start with peated scotch, there are better intros even at the price point.

Basic of the basics when it comes to scotch, plus my first experience into scotch whiskey. Sharp bitter tongue with a sharp bitter aftertaste. Usually drink with a twist over ice, but trying neat this shows how bottom of the rung it is compared to black or double black, not to mention higher grades.

Quite a strong taste, but a bit hard to drink.

Rich taste, little bit of smoke and vanilla. Quite smooth

It's a decent standby. Not a ton of flavor, but it's pretty smooth.
