Johnny Drum Private Stock Bourbon

Very interesting for a 101 proof offering. Almost no burn unless you really chew it and then it has a long finish. Quite a good as bourbon at this price point. I dont ever seem to be disappointed with Willett bourbons.

Easy as hell, weird funky floral note

Sweet vanilla notes on the front that linger into identifiable Willett spice, but to me better than it’s cousins Rowan’s Creek or Noah’s Mill.

Sweet vanilla & caramel. Up front nice, but falls off the table with no finish to speak of.

There’s a bready sweetness to the nose, think toast with jam and confectionery sugar. A little heat comes through on the nostrils, but pretty light. The upfront taste is woody and spicy, but the sweetness quickly returns. Oak spice, cinnamon, and toffee. The finish is hot as well, and tends to stay that way, hiding much of an aftertaste.

Spicy a little floral with some nut and vanilla. Nose is pretty spicy with alcohol notes
