Reviewed August 1, 2022Very smooth for a rye. Fruity nose, presumably from the figs. Fruit flavors continue on the palate, as well as rye spice notes. Has a full mouthfeel, and minimal heat. A very different and enjoyable rye whiskey.Journeyman Distillery -

Reviewed August 21, 2021Odd, but worth a try. Personally it's a favorite. Nose is a bit strong. Pallet is syrupy sweet from the fig. Almost jam like. Tastes like a Manhattan right out of the bottle. But of sour bitters in the finish which leaves a mulled taste in the mouth. It's very different from most whiskeys but worth the try. -
