London Dry Gin
Altitude Spirits // London, England
This gin has one eye keenly on British tradition and another looking toward modern agricultural innovation. Tasting Notes
"This is a forcefully aromatic gin with classic flavors of juniper and coriander melding for an assertively herbaceous aroma. Notably missing are signs of citrus for a spirit that definitely skews to a more grassy, medicinal character with a touch of spice. The rich, rye base creates a silky mouthfeel that has a good deal of oiliness and combines with the rather low 43% alcohol for a soft and approachable finish and makes a pleasant drink on its own. Despite this and the somewhat limited botanical recipe, the gin does not lack for complexity and could certainly hold it’s own with vermouth in a Negroni or Martini. "
