Nose: wood, gentle smoke, raisins Body: licorice, red pepper, dried fruits Finish : gentle smoke, a bit bitter

Mild peat, tobacco, some vanilla, citrus. Can taste the sherry but fairly mild as well. Doesn't come across as terribly rich or complex.

Mild tobacco smoke, sweet sherry finish, not very rich... seems a bit unbalanced

I was happily surprised by this bottle. It's not groundbreaking but the sherry finishing along with the peat adds a nice layer of sweetness and flavor to the smoke. I know the ABV is a little on the lower end but I think it would be a great entry point for someone looking to start getting into smokier drams and the price point is a definite plus. Cheers!
