Reviewed August 16, 2021 (edited February 21, 2022)This is my go-to for an inexpensive peated bottle. Have always loved sherry casks finished Scotches, and this dram definitely delivered that sweetness and candied fruit you'd expect. Bonus for me, the peat is subtle and lacking the petrol oiliness of harsher Islays. -

Reviewed June 20, 2021This is an “a little bit” whisky as it has a little bit of everything in it. Peat and ash, apple and smoke, vanilla and honey, simple and complex, nice and smooth. Nothing overpowering despite all the flavours you can find within. You can drink a lot hunting that taste on the tip of your tongue and never be upset you have to pour another and can’t nail down all the flavours. -

Reviewed June 4, 2021 (edited October 24, 2021)I bought this on sale at the LCBO in Ontario for $65 on sale. After a couple of drams I ordered six more at the sale price. It seems that the public enjoys this dram more than the experts. The experts rate an excellent dram poorly, as if all of us can afford to spend $100 a bottle or more. This single malt at $65 Canadian dollars is as good as it gets where I live.65.0 CAD per Bottle -

Reviewed June 2, 2021 (edited February 21, 2022)This was my favorite whiskey of the night. We’ve tried 7 different scotches from speyside and highlands, and most of my friends agreed that Jura stood out because of its complexity. Each time I went to the glass I start smelling and tasting different notes. First it was the funky sweetness and honey. Then second time this beautiful citrusy, almost red apple like fruitiness and the brine. Then the 3rd time the dark chocolate & walnut with ash. At 80 proof this surprisingly packs a lot of flavors. Each sip was a different experience. Great for a daily drinker. It goes down very smoothly. This will be one of my go to scotches from now on.45.99 USD per BottleLas Vegas
