Jura Journey

Sweet and spicy with an oily walnut finish

Nice easy sipping dram. Very light peat on the palate.

Somewhat soft, young nose with notes of vanilla, ocean air, plantain, lemon, bourbon barrel, melon and horchata. On the palate smooth and soft with mostly barley malt and touches of black pepper, orange, smoke, toffee, wood and cinnamon. The finish is long and softly spicy. Overall not bad, but it’s fairly generic. No peat. Ok. Very mild peat.

Can’t go wrong with Jura. I love the 10/12 and and Seven Wood. Journey is not too far behind. Younger but still a lot of berries and slightly peated with a peppery finish. Jura seems to never disappoints me.
