Speyside creaminess with just a hint of peat smoke. A good segue into Islay territory.

Excellent, well balanced Whisky with some welcome peat, but not heavy and not too smoky . This is often the Scotch I go to when I want to introduce someone to peat in a Scotch. Some sweetness here too, I struggle to find the taste of the oak. The alcohol is a bit pronounced, but settles with a few sips (3.5 stars)
