Kavalan Classic Single Malt

Rating is overrated. Like Korean cooked sugar mixed (달고나) with smoked oak. Very Japanese

Vanilla, mango, a little more water than usual is nice

Banana and mango, with vanilla and wood on the nose. Slight grassy/earthy note as well. Mango, banana, and honey come through first in the palate, with vanilla and caramel following. This is pretty dang good for a (likely) young whisky that is their base offering. It's my first Taiwanese whisky and I'm excited to look to try their other offerings and see how they are
