RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"There's no mistaking the rye character on this rye, as the grain's spice comes through assertively on both the nose and palate. It's backed by vanilla and white pepper, and a little bit tart, with a fragrance reminiscent of wine cellar and fresh-cut wood. It's distinctive, but possibly also divisive, leaning toward the aggressive side of rye."
