RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"Woodford Reserve's Toasted Oak Rye offers up an aromatic nose of caramelized bananas foster. It has a very nice rye spice, drinking a bit hotter than its 86 proof suggests. Its heat is balanced by a significant vanilla presence, and its finish is long and warming. This is a hard to find release, but fans of big, spicy ryes are likely to find it worth the effort."
