Kirk and Sweeney 18 Year Rum

I love this rum, I’m always open to recommendations but the only thing better is their 23 year. Both have this incredible cookie dough profile on the palate. The 18 has that along with a bouquet of floral and fruit notes followed by lots of cooked vanilla and burnt sugar. I love to sip it or mix it. It’s great for either.

Amazing aged rum. Nose is strong oak, maple, vanilla, dark fruit and cherry. The palette furthers the nose with surprising notes of sweet wood and brown sugar with a smooth finish. Sip it straight, thought it does make an interesting old fashioned. Highly recommended.
