Laird's Bottled In Bond Straight Apple Brandy
American Brandy — New Jersey, USA
Reviewed May 13, 2021 (edited April 8, 2022)Absolutely phenomenal! Yards better than the Apple Jack I tasted years ago. The nose is full of sour and Granny Smith apples, with soft caramel and vanilla notes, followed by a slight ABV burn. The palette is all that and then some, just smoother than the nose would imply. Plenty of apple, caramel and vanilla to go around but with the addition of baking spices, soft vegetal notes and a lingering burn. Definitely delicious on its own, but I'm sure it'd make an interesting Manhattan, an Old Fashioned or even delicious mixed with Mexican Coke. Cheers!36.0 USD per Bottle -
Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye
Canadian — Alberta, Canada
Reviewed January 30, 2021 (edited February 5, 2021)Easily the best rye I've ever had the pleasure to taste. Hits the spot on a wintry night such as this, bold and spicy and with some water she really shines.69.0 USD per Bottle -
Absolutely delicious. The nose is a little sharp but smooths out with the classic sea salt, smoke and pepper but with raspberries and vanilla joining in. The palate is Ardbeg through and through, with welcome additions of peach, vanilla, chocolate and mint with just the slightest burn. Recommended.50.0 USD per Bottle

Absolutely delicious. Nose of pine, earth, vanilla and baking spices. Vanilla, some heat, vegetal notes, vanilla, baking spices and oak coat the tongue. The heat does linger a little bit, though the finish is over all quite smooth. My first Rum Agricole, and I'm not disappointed one bit.30.0 USD per Bottle

Glen Grant 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed November 18, 2020 (edited June 15, 2021)Incredibly smooth scotch, especially considering the age. The nose is all cherry, peach, oak, medicinal fruit, vanilla, oak and vanilla with a small amount of milk chocolate. The palette follows suit but offers medicinal cherry, vanilla, medium oak and a slight smoke on the tail end of the finish. It might make a great old fashioned, though it amazing on its own merit.55.0 USD per Bottle -
The nose is clean, with soft notes of white sugar, mango and vanilla. The palette is on the sweet side, building upon on the nose with a slight burn on the tongue. An easy sipper? For sure, especially with a drop of water. It delivers as the base for a great cocktail though. The price isnt bad either.20.0 USD per Bottle
