"For a rum with no age statement, the nose is surprisingly complex: brown sugar, vanilla, Coco Lopez, wood. On the tongue, there's emergent pepper, along with an underpinning of fragrant anise, some dried pear, and a touch more wood. This is extremely pretty as a sipper, wearing its higher proof well."
