RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The nose shows a grain-forward/herbal profile with a fair amount of char smoke. On the palate, the rye is medium-full and lightly sweet. Again the flavors have a hearty, grain-forward flavor leading to a tangy ending with a peppery bite. The sweet notes, which are restrained, are more concentrated with dark caramel as opposed to cotton candy. It ends dry, but not too dry and it stays with you awhile. Enjoyable rye at a fair price."
