Knob Creek 9 Year Single Barrel Reserve

Smell of the vanilla but nutty and full. Very full and warm but very smooth for 120 proof. The hug is there but not overpowering

Dark fruits and baking spices on the nose. A little vanilla and a little heat. The palate is pleasant and smooth for 120 proof and the finish is medium and coats the top of your mouth. A solid pick up for the price. I am not sure I have seen on the shelf in Virginia before.

It’s earth and a little muddled. Definitely not a favorite and won’t buy again so many other better options in this price range lkke Wild Turkey Rare Breed which is more focused with ots flavors.
