Knob Creek Smoked Maple

Not as sweet as I thought it would be based on other reviews. This works fine neat for me. Lots of maple flavor and a little smoke to Knob Creek’s typical profile. Definitely fills a different craving than your standard bourbon, but not so sweet that I would use it as a liqueur.

Incredibly smooth, if not a bit too sweet. Wonderful on a fall night for sitting around a fire, and smoking a cigar. I actually enjoyed it most when I balanced it out with Knob Creek 9 year 100 proof at about 50/50 to tame the sweetness. It’s tremendous mixed into a coffee as an after dinner drink.

Strong maple aroma as soon as tops popped. Aroma smooths out after pour. On the palate I got a lot of maple and sugar. A lot.

I really enjoyed this. Excited to try it in a Manhattan.
