Knob Creek Smoked Maple

Classic bourbon largely overshadowed by a wall of maple syrup. Purchased this as something my girlfriend was interested in. Too much whiskey for her, too much straight maple for me. Gonna try and make some cocktails with it

Nose: strong maple syrup and some smoke Taste: Sweet maple syrup is the immediate flavor With some smoke second. The maple gradually faded to leave behind more smoke, caramel. Cloyingly sweet but will stand well as a mixer by cutting down the sweetness to more acceptable levels.
