Knockando 15 Year
Knockando // Speyside, Scotland
This specific expression from Knockando has been matured both in sherry and refill bourbon casks. Knockando derives from the Scottish Gaelic term 'cnock an dhu' meaning 'little black hill' and is the name of the town that the distillery sits in next to the River Spey. Note: This 15-year whisky is not available in the US.
Single MaltDistilled in pot stills from 100% malted barley, produced at one distillery, aged in barrels; if Scotch or Irish, must be aged for at least three years.

"The nose is frank and rather powerful with cooked fruits, sweet spices and dark chocolate. A silky and fruity mouthfeel with a strong sherry influence resulting in a truly heartwarming dram. A delightfully long finish with oak, cinnamon and cloves."
