Kurayoshi 8 Year Pure Malt Sherry Cask

Almond, cherry, leather, some sherry richness, some salt notes. Sweet sherry aftertaste. 1 of 12 in advent calendar

Very complex on the nose. Reminds me of an Irish smell but not in the taste. Almost could swear it had notes of unmalted barley like Irish. Fruity and heavily sherried just as advertised. Chocolate and has a bit of a bite.

Sweet to start then very bring and a bit bitter. Does finish with a hint of orange

Fruity floral nose. Light oak. Vanilla. A nice light drinker.

Very sweet and light, a good sipping whiskey or dessert whiskey
