Kurayoshi 8 Year Pure Malt
Blended Malt
Kurayoshi // Multiple Countries
Matsui Shuzo was established in 1910 and has been producing shochu every since. The boutique-sized Matsui Distillery is located in Tottori, a coastal prefecture on southern Honshu in the Chūgoku region of Japan.
Their whiskies are characterized by the pure underground waters from the Daisen Mountains that they use while aging their product. This is a 100% malt whisky, but the whisky was sourced from distilleries in Scotland before being blended with malt whisky from Japan.

Tasting Notes
"This is a light, grain-forward whisky, enjoyable albeit mild in flavor. Expect notes of cereal on the nose, with lemon zest, elderflower, and pear on the palate, and a light graininess lingering on the finish."
