Kyrö Wood Smoke Malt Rye

Smoked grilled lemons and funiture polish on the nose. The palate is sweet honeyed. The finish is more of the smoked furniture polish, like a bite out of a lacured footstool. Its almost Aquavit in its medcinical qualities. The medicinal iodine isn’t a combination I enjoy… sadly, I had to pour the dram out I disliked it so much.

Very smoky and strong. Absolutely one of my favorites so far.

Quite smoky. An odd aroma of smoked fish or meat. Earthiness and pepper taste. Some light vanilla and butter undertones. An incredibly unique experience for a whiskey. Hard to escape the almost ham taste.
