Lagavulin 10 Year

The Lagavulin signature taste is there but don't expect it to be even close to the 16YO. As a matter of fact, I prefer the 8YO to this one.

Nose: Peat smoke, vanilla, salt, citrus, caramel Palate: Vanilla, brine, smoke, caramel Finish: Smoke, ash, brine Nice bottling from Lagavulin. Its very delicious but the 16 year old gains a lot from the sherry cask finish over this one that is solely bourbon cask maturated.

smoky and oily ... excellent!
