Lagavulin 8 Year

Not sure what these reviewers are smokin but this is not a 91 point whisky. This is a mediocre dram thats not terrible but not memorable like a true 91 point whisky like Laphroaig 10 cask strength batch 12. If you have a chance try these two side by side and your eyes will pop when you sip the Batch 12 after this mediocre whisky.

A- amber - 2, low viscosity N- peat, smoke, pepper, savory (bacon and salty steak) P- Peaty and smoky arrival, sweet, pepper, oily, rich, full, dark chocolate, salty , bonfire F- medium finish , bittersweet aftertaste C- a savory dram less sweet than the lagavulin 16, if you are a fan of lagavulin you have to try it

Delicious flavor, very sweet and lots of smoke! Mellows out a lot with an ice cube

Nose: salty, caramel Palate: chewy, lemon, more brine Finish: more of the same Solid, would prefer Ledaig 10 to this though.
