Lagavulin Offerman Edition 11 Year

Classic Laggy nose and palate, but less Band-Aidy™️. Slightly sweet, maritime salt, sulfur, green apples, a hint of that Offerman fresh-scent cologne and a splash of peat drench, but not overbearing. Cap it off with a semi-long and slightly bitter smoked toffee finish. Good stuff. Bacon-wrapped shrimp on deck!

Great classic lagavulin just more up front, iondine/medicinal with a punch of peat, but not so much you can't work through, floral smooth finish, very good

Offerman offer to take. A more umami peat compared to the 16 y.o. Delicious!

Nose - Peat smoke, salt, a steak being grilled over a charcoal grill in the distance. Taste - The drink is an experience. You immediately get the smoke and the flavor begins to explode throughout your mouth. The flavor washes out into a numbness from the ethanol. Finish - Transforms as your tongue takes it in, like a shower of sparks. The delicious aftertaste lingers and the warmth continues to eliminate in your throat. Score - 4.75 Scoring Legend 5.0 - Near perfect, there is something truly special about this whisky. 4.5 - Amazing, will always try to keep a bottle of this in my collection (if feasible). 4.0 - Very Good, maybe only one minor nitpick about the whisky keeping it here. 3.5 - Good, quite enjoyable to drink. 3.0 - Solid, wouldn't go out of my way to get it. 2.5 - Meh, still drinkable. Under 2.5 - If you have a bottle of this, start cooking with it instead.

Nose - peat is there, moderate but not too strong Taste - no H2O added- Easy to drink, peat flavor but not overwhelming Finish - smooth, tingle on the tongue and wherever it touches in the mouth, no burn down the throat Score - 4.5 Scoring Legend 5.0 - Outstanding, unmatched to others 4.5 - Excellent, I will always try to keep a bottle in stock 4.0 - Very good, quite enjoyable to drink 3.5 - Good, would consider tasting again from time to time 3.0 - Average 2.5 - Acceptable, still drinkable. 2.0 - Inferior, able to drink but not enjoyable 1.5 and below—wouldn’t drink again unless I am desperate
