Laphroaig 10 Year

an oily begining, a brief flash of caramel before some earthy, herbal notes arrive, drift wood oak, iodine, and of course very heavy peating. the finish is medium to long with a white pepper, anise and straw finish. Good islay id recommend for heavier iodine and herbal qualities.

Very Peated, strong flavor. For the price some will very much like this scotch, just know the flavor is very strong some will like it some won, personally was a little too strong for me. I’m a huge fan of lagavoulin 16 too if that tells you anything about how strong the flavor is.
