Laphroaig 18 Year

In a small snifter with a splash of filtered water. Complex nose, getting vanilla and medicine. Oaky taste. Not as peaty as 10-year, but I like it better.

10-Year's Older brother. Smoother, more sophisticated but a little less Wow than younger bro. More heavy, less smokey. Prefer the 10 neat but tge 18 does great with ice.

Beautiful, elegant, complex and smooth, a beauty and the beast. Have it slightly warmed by your hands. Mellow deep peat and smoke, Slight raw peanuts, kombu, the sea breeze. Slight vanilla, wet peaty malt, wet wool, slight bitter and sweet. Lovely esp. with a dark ganache chocolate from Chocolate Arts. The cholate brings out the peat and peanut aroma.
