Laphroaig Càirdeas 2023 White Port & Madeira Casks

I gave this another chance before Ms Modern Drinking finished off the bottle and liked it more on retasting, particularly the fruitiness of the nose. No bitter finish this time.

Nice nose and finish, rubber, defintiely grts the port ad well

I like it.

Sweetness on the nose with a little smoke. Definite smoke and mild/moderate burn on the tongue with a light sweetness on the finish

Sweet white wine on the nose. Medicinal mellow smoke on the palate. A fresh and almost herbal finish. Lovely.

Welcome drink at the distierrly, sweet, peaty finish
