Tasting Notes
"The aroma is fairly intense with sweet vanilla, a mix of herbal and earthy elements, cigar ash, and beef jerky. On the palate, it's mildly sweet on the tongue but there's also a sour/tangy element here. Other tastes include milk chocolate and peat smoke has a constant presence at a moderate intensity. There's a peppery bite at the finish when tasting at full strength. Adding a splash of water helps to smooth the rough edges. Cereal grain sweetness is more present with the water and bacon bits come in a bit stronger. Overall, the whisky could be a bit more cohesive."
