Corriecravie is a core expression from LAGG Distillery, a heavily peated distillery from the Isle of Arran Distillers. This single malt was first matured in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in oloroso sherry hogshead casks sourced from Miguel Martin in Jerez. It was bottled at 55% ABV without added color or chill-filtration.
LAGG is named after the last legally founded distillery on Arran, which closed in 1837. Initially released in the UK in summer 2023, it's available in the US beginning June 2024. (SRP $99.

"The aromas on the single malt are savory with smoky bacon and roasted peanuts. The mouthfeel is soft on the palate with a mild oak spice on the tongue. Overall, it's lightly sweet with ash and sage notes found on the finish along with some wax. "
