Laphroaig Quarter Cask

Smoky and woody and laphroaig, right? A but cleaner than the oldies.

Imagine walking through a humid swamp all day wearing a tuxedo. By the time the sun sets your sweat soaked body stumbles out of the tree line and you’re at the shore. You collect a bunch of driftwood and find a can of old gasoline and use it to make a fire and burn your suit. Imagine once the fire is long gone scraping up all the ashes putting them into a cup and mixing it with seawater. That’s what Laphroaig Quarter Cask tastes like.

NAS MSG

Nose: Alcohol, tobacco, peat, wood starting to burn, beach and fish, old lady's perfume, liquorice, dried oranges, lemon zest. Mouth: Alcohol bite, mouthwash, bruleed sugar, dark brown sugar, carpenter shop, Barbecue smoke. Bourbon-like wood taste, but the smokiness gets me back to Scotland. Vanilla, fish, hot ashes and spicy. Finish: Mentol and smoke, like if I had smoked a menthol cigarette.
