Weird Trump's foundation orange N: Warm ashes, dry hay, limoncello, subdued burning dry herbs, eau de cologne, cigar smoke, beach rocks, apricots, fire, bright flowers. M: Cigarette, lime zest, hot wooden spoon, leather, black pepper, charred meat crust. Finish is long but mild, smoke makes me feel like a dragon, soapy, floral.

Laphroaig Quarter Cask
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed February 19, 2023 (edited March 7, 2023)Nose: Alcohol, tobacco, peat, wood starting to burn, beach and fish, old lady's perfume, liquorice, dried oranges, lemon zest. Mouth: Alcohol bite, mouthwash, bruleed sugar, dark brown sugar, carpenter shop, Barbecue smoke. Bourbon-like wood taste, but the smokiness gets me back to Scotland. Vanilla, fish, hot ashes and spicy. Finish: Mentol and smoke, like if I had smoked a menthol cigarette. -
Nose: Unusual and intriguing fresh feeling that reminds mint or mentol; combined with ether and medicinal whiffs this dram reminisces mouthwash or pain relieving gel. It also smells like liquorice, some exotic wood used for cachaça (I don't remember which one, probably amburana), wood fire and leather. To my surprise, barely no smoke. Mouth: Medicine, mouthwash, spiciness from wood, blue cheese. Smokiness became more obvious after sitting in the glass for about 20 minutes; warm bbq ashes, burning wood, charred meat. Also a touch of sea salt and brown sugar. Finish: medium. Seaweed, mouthwash, exotic wood.

Very pale, almost clear. Looks like a pale white wine. Smells like smoke, barbecue, ashes, cigarillo, alcohol, burning wood, cooled charcoal, lemon zest, woman perfume, a touch of sea, burning dry herbs and prosciutto. In mouth the sea is more prominent. Tastes like seaweed, sea water, burning charcoal, smoking dry herbs, lemon meringue, tobacco, ashes. Mouthfeel is creamy and hot. There's some freshness in the aftertaste, like white flowers. Smoke lasts forever.
