The barrels used in the batch were aged from 6 to 8 years. But as the name suggests, the bourbon is bottled straight from the barrel at Barrel Proof. Heaven Hill releases three batches each year so be on the look out for the batch number and proof on the label.

Tasting Notes
"The nose sets you up for a big, bold bourbon adventure with hot clove spices, tart apple, bing cherry, and woodsy cola spices. Caramel richness and vanilla are more present on the palate, mixing with spiced cherry pie flavors, wheat flakes breakfast cereal, and a hint of malted chocolate (like a Tootsie Roll). With such a high proof the finish unsurprisingly a bit on the hot side, but the sweet cereal and spice notes hold it up. "
