Larceny Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Tropical fruits, spice and oak on the nose, with a base note of turpentine. Cinnamon spice and that char/ethanol/turpentine strongly on the palate, with a warm finish. I’m not getting a lot of sweetness until towards the end, but that sweetness dissipates quickly and gives way to a sharp spiciness before fading altogether.

Kicking this glass off, the Nose gives strong Oak/Wood Aromos with a hint of cinammon. As you jump into the Palate you may be surprised with Valentines sweet heart candy and then an immediate spiral into spicy black pepper at the back end of the Palate which lasts into the short Finish this bottle provides. As the Finish subsides, the sweetness of the candied Initial Palate returns before the Finish concludes into a waxy coat over your tongue.

A rough sip. Not very tasty. Tried to like it, probably wont buy it again.
