Reviewed April 19, 2020 (edited June 25, 2020)The color shining out is a light copper. And thick semi-viscous legs march their way back to base. The nose right off is young and green. Notes that follow are flowers, honey, caramel, maple, apple cider, green grass, and nail polish remover. The palate has an oily mouthfeel and is really simple. There are notes of green pine, caramel, vanilla, and tangy lemon. There is a fairly long and, for lack of better term, “grainy” finish. Lazy Guy, I’d age this rye longer, (I know you’re lazy, but I’m doing you a favor and I believe in you.) It all just seems too young. I’d like to give it another go with another couple years under its belt. Until then, thanks for listening. Cheers!
