Reviewed December 4, 2022 (edited December 8, 2022)Wow, the peat is not up front with this, but very back-of-the-mouth. Sherry is definitely on the middle of the mouth. Long aldehydic finish. Plenty of vanilla and spice throughout. Definitely pleasant -

Reviewed December 3, 2022Evokes: for pi day one year I made a spiced blackberry and boysenberry pie. This really brings me back to that day; grabbing a slice fresh out of the oven and cuddling on the couch. An excellent dram from my favorite distillery. -

Reviewed December 3, 2022Reminds me a bit of a smokey spiced rum. Plum and a dark berry? A little sweet, but just enough to smooth out the flavors. I love Ledaig, and this one was a great expression! A great cosy winter whisky. I am a little sad a bit of my pour got spilled, will have to seek it out again! -

Reviewed July 23, 2022 (edited July 31, 2022)Nose: Salt/saline, smoke, ash, char, peat, rose/floral Palate: Almond, walnut, plum/raspberry, cranberries, dark chocolate, raspberry, dry wood shavings. Very dry and spicy. Finish: Medium long finish. Clove, allspice, salt. Extremely dry smoke, wood shavings and almond. Light berry wisps. This would be a session whisky, but it's just a little too dry. Nutty and oaky, coastal saline, smoke and peat, with a good amount of tart berry sweetness. A decent (very dry!) dram.32.95 GBP per Bottle
