Legendario Ron Añejo

Цвет чайной заварки. Аромат карамели, цитрусов. Сначала довольно спиртуозный, надо дать хорошо подышать, после чего проявляются чайные тона, немного дерева. Тело довольно маслянистое. Во вкусе карамель, полынь, немного цитруса, также проявляется лекарство, которое используют при лечении зубов. В послевкусии горчинка. Довольно спиртуозно. Вкус слабее аромата.

Nose: sweet, orange and some mint, cinnamon Palate: sweet, and spicy Finish: mouth covering, spicy, oaky, long 9 years old version, nothing special, and nothing bad about it

Достаточно интересный ром. В аромате небольшая сладость, патока, сухофрукты, изюм, ваниль и специи. Очень зорош в чистом виде. Отлично дополняет хорошую сигару.

This rum has a lot of burn and not much flavor to it. It has some sweetness and reminds me of the Legendario Elixir de Cuba but more harsh. Definitely not going out of my way to buy another bottle but it is a welcome change from my regular rum from time to time.

When drinking Cuba libres, I usually prefer rums that give character to the mix, not just a plain neutral flavour. This one is among the former ones. Not much is needed to be poured in order to identify it's there. It's sharp, not super sweet and I'd say a bit smoked. Matusalem Añejo and Havana 7 might be close calls, and the first one, quite cheaper. Bought for 20€ in Spain
