Tasting Notes
"Find a burst of tropical fruits on the nose, with green apple, melons, and Jolly Ranchers. The palate then shifts starkly into dry oak and spice, with ginger and black pepper, and menthol. Overall warming, with waxy characteristics. Surprisingly salty. Finish starts hot and big but mellows with oaky tannins, and more spice and medicinal notes. A classic Speyside boosted by its cask strength, with the twist of that lasting saltiness, which with water morphs into an addictive chocolate/salted caramel riff."
