Reviewed May 25, 2026A rich, Agave Spirit by Casa Don Roberto NOM 1437 founded by Don Roberto Orendain in 1840. It is made with estate grown agave & volcanic spring water using a secret family recipe. The agave is slow roasted in earthen ovens & aged for a minimum of 12 months in white oak barrels. It has an aromatic birth with notes of roasted agave, fruits, wood, nuts & spices; while a rich life adds notes of peanuts, pepper, citrus & chocolate; that led to a long & complex death with notes of coconut & almond cream. -

Reviewed December 20, 2020 (edited April 5, 2021)Neat. Brassy in color. Nose is cream soda like.. sweet and vanilla, a touch of oak. Taste is sweet, but less so than Clase Azul. Cream soda and a touch of oak, cinnamon and black pepper. Finish is just sucralose and artificial oak, some caramel. You know you bought this for the bottle. The juice inside is dominated by additives. It doesn't taste bad in the way that processed candy tastes good. I'm sure it's tasty for non tequila drinkers. Think 80 proof cream soda schnapps. Not for connoisseurs.80.0 USD per Bottle
