Still strange tasting after oxidation in the sample bottle. Now has spirity taste

Is barrel aging making the mezcal taste like jelly beans and licorice? Interesting but not my thing

Vanilla, lemon, cotton candy, wood; very little agave comes through on the nose. Smoky, fruity and lightly sweet and spicy taste with almost a dessert-like quality.
