Bannana/red apple skin, short lived caramel, vanilla, mild fig notes then comes the tannic but rich oakiness, with the finish having a medium length savory finish.

Barrel #81 Bourbon Street pick. 134.5 proof. Total caramel bomb. Sweet oak. Long finish but no burn from the proof.

On the nose dark cherry syrup, caramel, cinnamon, antique wood furniture. Surprisingly soft landing on the palate considering the proof. Not feeling the need to add any water. Thick, rich, decadent. Dark cherry, sticky caramel, vanilla, old oak. Long drawn out finish. I haven't been drinking much bourbon lately, but this would be among the top of my list of favorite bourbon pours.
