Lugnaquilla Peated Irish Whiskey

Light peat and smoke on the nose, lots of sweet there. The pallet is smokey, peaty, brown sugar, spices, vanilla, and there is certainly an Irish whiskey flavor to it. The finish is short, spicy, and sweet. It's a nice whiskey, not overly complex, and has a nice level of smoke and peat. When I went back to this whiskey after a week, I think the Irish whiskey is quite good, but the smoke that they've added to it, is not well done.
