Reviewed December 11, 2021 (edited June 20, 2022)To start, I'm a neophyte, however on the nose, I get a lot of vanilla and sweetness. Tasting like a fine desert, very sweet and smooth maybe with a bit of spice I can't identify. Medium longevity on the palat, with a lasting sweetness. I will savour this whiskey as a treat to start the evening. Very nice.111.0 CAD per BottleCalgary -

Reviewed December 29, 2020 (edited June 20, 2022)Full of flavour, complex, and delicious. The nose included vanilla, dried apricots, a bit of candied almonds and some baking spices... and much more! The Sherry influence was noticeable but the dram was nonetheless very balanced. Creamy mouthfeel, sweet, a touch of new oak, and a hint of salt from the sea air. Medium, clean finish and a lingering sensation of nostalgia, wishing you could have the experience one more time, followed by a burst of ecstasy as you realize there is more in the glass! (Till the bottles empty, then you go buy more.) -
