Mackmyra Moment Efva is the result from a creative collaboration with Swedish jewelry designer Efva Attling. Together with master blender Angela D'Orazio, Efva picked 19 casks, mainly oloroso, American oak and ex-bourbon barrels.
To create a more prominent sweetness, a cask that previously held cherry wine was added to the mix. The polished silver cork for the bottle was designed by Efva.

Tasting Notes
"Fruity and floral on the nose. And rather light but rich as well, if that makes sense. Hints of warm caramel, coffee grinds, licorice and aniseed. Also a touch of quince. The palate is sweet at first, but accompanied by classic Mackmyra spiciness—think nutmeg and black pepper. A hint of rose hip, but also pine sap and a whiff of red berries. A rather good showing from Mackmyra albeit not entirely balanced. "
