Reviewed February 7, 2022Splendid whisky, the nose begins good with smooth sherry notes (this is a champagne cask just to clear things out). In the intake the whisky lacks kick on the palate, but it gives a nice and calm feel to it, with again nice round sherry notes. Its just lovely.1200.0 SEK per Bottle -

Reviewed December 6, 2020Interesting experiment but not necessarily one to my liking. Better nose where the fruit elements from the champagne casks show. In mouth it does feel like white wine, somewhat acidic and with some fennel/anise notes that, in my view, are too overpowering. Cool to taste, not to buy. -

Reviewed July 18, 2020 (edited April 16, 2021)Thanks to @PBMichiganWolverine for the small pour. Lots of orchard fruit on the nose, bits of alcohol seep through if you inhale too deeply. The palate is strong and filled with youthful peppy spirit. There’s some pale fruitiness, but it’s overly harsh and dry. The finish isn’t deep, but it is lingering and dry. No wood notes force this one to be simple and mostly one-dimensional. Perhaps if there was some well-aged spirit blended in there could be some things to talk about, but as this is, it’s purely designed to mix with something else or to “shoot” if you’re looking for a quick buzz. Thanks, PB. -

Reviewed December 3, 2019Smells like fresh squeezed apple juice. I like that. Full flavor across the pallet. The end is a little bit of plants and butter. Second sip was the same. I’m struggling to explain the primary flavor. It’s nutty, plants, butter, popcorn. Very unique. No peat, this isn’t a scotch. It’s all traditional whisky, that feels a lot like a bourbon. Third sip, more of the same. I wouldn’t buy a bottle, or a single. But I would accept a dram if a friend offered me one.
