Maestro Dobel Diamante Tequila

Not as good as Don Julio 70 for complexity, but has a nice classic agave bite.

Almost taste like a Mezcal

Continuing my side venture into tequila, with what is apparently the original "cristilano". Nose: Peppery agave and very floral like a desert rose. Palate: Sweet, slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Black pepper, anise and cacao nib. Finish: Black licorice and hints of coffee. Fades farely quickly. It tastes great but it's a bit too sweet and candy-like to drink more than one. I'd skip dessert for a pour of this any day though.
