Siembra Azul Blanco Tequila

Siembra Azul was founded by David Suro-Piñera and was created with the purpose of promoting education, health services and research in tequila production. The unaged tequila is produced in the town of Arandas in the Highlands of Jalisco and is double-distilled with agave ranging from 5 to 8 years of age. On each label you will find a wealth of information with everything from the name of the agave ranch, type of still, and both the name of the jimador and the distiller along with so much more. Every batch will be a little different but In general they are always made with the same level of care and attention to detail and are pursuant of a consistent house style.
Tequila BlancoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is typically unaged , clear, and bottled straight after distillation. Sometimes rested in stainless steel up to 60 days and can also be aged in wood for no more than 30 days.
"The tequila is aromatically exciting. A little musty but full of spice, black pepper, brine, fresh banana, rubber band, beeswax and vitamin C powder. The flavors are very enticing: earthy and sweet with notes of parsnip, sugar cane, pineapple, pear and hints of herb. Overall a very impressive, fruit driven, well balanced tequila."
