Allegheny Distilling located in Pittsburgh, PA is the maker of Maggie’s Farm Rum. In addition to its impressive roster of rum, the distillery produces a rum-based Falernum Liqueur. Made from a base of Maggie’s Farm White Rum, it’s flavored with ginger, lime zest, and toasted whole cloves and allspice berries. The liqueur is then sweetened with Louisiana turbinado sugar and bottled at 25% ABV.

"With a light amber hue, Maggie's Farm Falernum smells slightly sweet and prominently of lime. On the palate, the lime flavor remains prominent, with slight underlying notes of clove and baking spice. More tart than similar liqueurs, it's also better used as an addition to cocktails than sipped neat."
